Ezzell Trucking was founded in 1951 in Harrells, North Carolina with a single tractor-trailer. In response to our customer’s growth, we have expanded to four terminal locations -- Harrells, NC; Charlotte, NC; Wilmington, NC; and Bishopville, SC and operate a fleet of 150 tractors and 450 trailers. We currently employ 210 people. Delivering outstanding service and performance at competitive rates has been the reason for our growth.

Our mission is to be a world class provider of transportation and logistics services. Our management team consists of professionals who realize in order to be successful, we must continually strive to exceed our customer's expectations.

Our award winning safety department is responsible for hiring and educating drivers to conform to company polices and DOT regulations. Our stringent hiring standards and commitment to safety has enabled Ezzell Trucking to establish a reputation as one of the safest companies in the industry.

Our equipment is late model, exceptionally clean and well maintained. By operating and maintaining late model equipment, we can minimize breakdowns and avoid shipping delays. The investment we make in providing and maintaining top quality equipment pays dividends in employee pride and customer recognition.

Dispatch operations are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our trucks are equipped with Qualcomm two-way satellite based mobile communication. Within seconds, we can accurately locate a truck within a few feet and send and receive messages to our drivers. In addition, we have EDI capabilities and as an added service, we offer load-tracking information to our customers.
