Owner Operator Program

We pay Practical Miles and drivers average at least $1.13 per mile. We also pay Fuel Surcharge on all miles (including empty). Each Owner Operator must provide Bob-tail insurance (which can be obtained through Ezzell) and trucks must pass a DOT Inspection before leasing on.

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid CDL-Class A license
  • At least 23 years of age
  • One year of verifiable tractor trailer experience
  • Meet all federal and state motor carrier requirements
  • Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
  • Pass background checks
  • Pass company road test
  • No careless or reckless violations within the past three years
  • No DWI violations within the past five years
  • No more than two moving violations within the past three years
  • Must interview to determine maturity, emotional stability, and professional knowledge
  • Be available and willing to receive training as deemed necessary
